SENIOR THESIS
Senior thesis is a year-long capstone project that involves a detailed analysis of building systems and an advanced design proposition. During the fall semester, an independent investigation is performed in order to have a complete understanding of the existing building systems. A new design is worked on and proposed during the spring semester. Finally, a final report and a presentation summarizing the findings of the year-long investigation and design are published.
CPEP PURPOSE
The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web‐based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year‐long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering. HHD BUILDING
Human Health and Development Building is a mixed use office/education building located in the Pennsylvania State University (University Park campus). It is a building that offers classrooms, research rooms, labs, and offices. Its main occupant is the College of Health and Human Development, but the building is used to hold many Penn State classes, including AE classes.
